I have been a little distracted from posting much about the new wedding plans. I have been spending a lot of time with Tate. We have been working on our first cd together! Official recording starts next week. We are both so excited! The cd will be mostly instrumental with about four songs that we sing on.
This last week, Tate's family played at Mission Baptist in Lebanon Friday night. Tate and I were able to sing a song we worked up recently. We also sang it this Sunday morning at our home church. I will try to post the video soon! His family also played at a little church in Hollister Sunday night, and I was able to go along. We sang our song again, and I was able to play one on the piano. It was so fun! I'm excited to be able to travel soon and visit so many different places!
As far as wedding planning, I am slowly starting to gather more ideas and decorations. I am needing to finalize my bridesmaid's dresses soon. I have a basic idea, just nothing on paper quite yet. 4 1/2 more months till the big day! I am really trying to keep it simple and let the focus be on the fact that we are getting married and not on just having a big wedding.
